Working at Cedar Point for 2 Years

I started working at Cedar Point during the 2023 season in the Event Operations department. My main responsibilities while working in Event Operations included, Maintaining the cleanliness of a various event venues, as well as being the main person handling meeting and greeting high school marching bands before they perform in the park. During Seasonal parades that are happening at Cedar Point, I am the main person that is responsible for escorting the parade throughout its entire parade route while ensuring the guests and performers are safe during the parade. I not only got to help the Event Operations department with escorting parades and the overall cleanliness of event venues. I did different positions when Cedar Point hosted the Frontier Festival during the parks 2023 season as well. I managed the arts and crafts booth during Frontier Festival as well as managing the various themed carnival games during the festival. 

I returned to Cedar Point for the 2024 season and my second year working at the park. I worked in the games department at Cedar Point. I learned how to operate the different games from basketball to the water gun game. In addition to learning the operation of the games, I also learned guest service and how to resolve issues that is negatively affetcting a guests day at the park.
